EVER YONDER

A while back, there was no cheese in these parts at all. But we believed it was there to be found anyhow. So we just tried hard. That’s when it came to us. This was the first cheese from this place, so it felt right to name it for the Cumberland Plateau,

a beautiful region of cliffs and canyons. The Sequatchie Valley is like a big meadow in the middle, and our Creamery is surrounded by forested coves, high crags, and glittering caves. You might discover something new in any direction - maybe a mysterious creature, or maybe a timeless food.

Cumberland is a trusty Alpine-style cheese like Tomme de Savoie, but its remarkable rind and pleasing textures belong only here in Tennessee. Tomme style cheeses have a straightforward way of capturing the places they represent, and Cumberland just keeps unfolding no matter how long you explore.
